Here’s all the stuff we built in 2014, as far as we can remember…

January

• We added  a smart system (as an alternative to Google Contacts) for you to collaborate with people you already know.
• We added Sort by Date as a feature for Task Boards and Scrum Boards.
• We made it easier for Kerika+Google users to work with Microsoft Office files, without having to convert them to Google Docs.
• We made it easier to link cards, canvases and boards.

February

• We made it easier to delete projects you no longer need, and to retrieve them if you change your mind.
• (We found out that one of our patents is referenced by Microsoft, IBM and Ford!)

March

• We got rid of a ton of UI crud that had developed over time, without us noticing.
• We had to get rid of one of our oldest features, which had outlived its usefulness 🙁
• We made it easier to reference URLs from within Kerika, by showing the website’s title instead of just the address.
• We improved performance of Kerika: not for the first time, and certainly not for the last time!
• We made it easier for users to personalize their accounts with their own photos and logos.

April

We pondered integrating with Box. Pondered and pondered…

May

• We did a big redesign of Kerika, adding the Home Page and the horizontal layout of project tabs we now have.
• We made our 6AM task summary emails a little smarter (even though our long-term goal is to get rid of them altogether…)
• We added more fonts for people to use on canvases and Whiteboards.

June

We got really serious about integrating with Box…

July

• We reworked our website and this blog to use a responsive design, so it would be easier to read on mobile devices.
• We were a big part of the IPMA conference in Lacey, Washington.
• We released Kerika+Box!

August

• We upgraded our integration with Google Apps Marketplace to use OAuth 2.0.
• We made it easier to do partial searches.
• We improved the user experience on iPads.
• We launched on the Box Marketplace.

September

• We presented at Washington State’s Office of Financial Management Fall Forum.
• We added the Project Info  feature.
• We added exporting of cards as a feature.
• We added Work-in-Progress limits as a feature.
• We added Max Canvas View as a feature.
• We improved the appearance of colored cards on Task Boards and Scrum Boards.

October

• We presented at the Lunch & Learn Agile event in Olympia
• We made it easy to embed Twitter feeds on Kerika Whiteboards.
• We made it easy to embed Instagram photos on your Whiteboards.
• We made it easy to embed Prezi presentations on your Whiteboards.
• We made it easy to switch between Kanban and Scrum, using the same board.
• We made it easy to make individual projects viewable by the public.
• We added auto-numbering of cards as a feature.
• We made sure exported cards included tags.
• We added one-click integration between Kerika and Google Docs and Boxnotes.
• We improved the status feature of cards.
• We added a new Welcome Experience to help orient new users.
• We made it easier for users to change their passwords.

October was a really busy month.

November

• We made it easier for you to share projects with people who are part of your account team.
• We presented at the Lean Transformation Conference in Tacoma, where we were a bit hit.
• We presented at the Project Management Institute’s Olympia Chapter meeting.

December

• We added Archiving as a feature for Projects and Templates.
• We took Christmas Day off. Well, some of us did.
